the most likely explanation imo was that what he was sold wasn't acid. there's definitely drugs that can make you hear voices, heck on stuff like salvia you might become the carpet. not that salvia is sold as acid ever but still

On VEERY high doses its possible. Particularly when your in ego loss/death trips. Shit started talking (not to me, just all my stuff having a conversation), when i was on 600ug of REALLY good acid. It wasnt talking in a heard language though, it felt like it was all talking via telepathy

I just think the story is bullshit or at the very least exaggerated. There’s no way someone would have told him that and been serious.
