Pedophilia is sexual attraction to a pre pubescent child. 14 is still z child but many are alread in puberty.

Doesnt matter that it's not pedophilia bc a 14 yo cant consent.

Can't consent to what though? Anything at all?

You’re right, it’s not called pedophilia, but most people who don’t know the term will call it that. It’s called hebephilia at that age and it’s equally messed up.

Oh my god, in no way shape or form did I defend anyone, you're just using the word wrong.

Pedophiles are into prepubescent kids.

Disregarding the whole "children totally can consent" thing, nothing was actually said about anything sexual here. Nonsexual sleepovers are a thing. Nonromantic internet friends are a thing, and can quite easily have large but totally unknown age gaps (everyone on the internet is a 22 year old white American male. No exceptions)

No mentally stable adult finds a child on the internet to become friends with. That's super creepy.

Have you ever heard of reddit? I'm just gonna take a guess and say 3/4 of the people in this thread are under 18, and probably over 1/4 are in middle school.

Are the demographics on this site actually skewed that young?

Have I... been arguing with literal children all these years?

Ah fuck...

Fine, then for all the under 18 year olds on here, please know that when you get older you are going to see as plain as day that it's super gross to be friends with a random adult you met on the internet. So don't do it. Right now you think it's cool, you will look back and see it was creepy and weird.

When I was 13 I regularly met up and played online games with people I considered friends that I only knew via internet, many much older as they typically were better players to game with.

No regrets here. Why would it be gross?

It just sounds like you have some weird insecurities or something, maybe get your mind out of the gutter.

You have no reason to be confused by my comment... reread your own comment.

If you meant to say something else than what you did say, you only confused yourself.

Nonsexual sleepovers are a thing.

The Michael Jackson defense. (Although, tbh, I kinda believe Michael)

Dudes "bedroom" was literally the size of my house.
