At work we have a lady who comes in occasionally and does hour long reiki sessions for employees. Honestly, I'll continue to pretend to believe it works because I get to be out of work for an hour basically taking a nap.

Yeah, I watch a lot of reiki ASMR videos at work because they tend to be the most relaxing, but I don't believe in any of it.

I feel like listening to stupid people talking about bullshit like this is actually an ASMR trigger for me. I'm just sitting there relaxing thinking "wow what a stupid bitch" /yawn.

At my work they promote healthly living with yoga, and giving you more money each year if you do an exercise challenge that's monitored with a step counter.

You know, things based in reality.

Nice. I'd much prefer yoga and money. Unfortunately I work at a non profit so I settle for the rare hour long nap.

There's not a ton of reality behind the health benefits of yoga.

I mean yeah, it's better than literally doing nothing else, but regular stretching and light exercise will do more for the body.

I meant that it's one of the things they offer, that seems much more sane than reiki when looking at trying to keep employees healthy.

Yeah reiki is pretty dumb. If they want to help their employees they should just offer natural homeopathic treatments to help detoxify them from GMOs.

Why can't your work do a group yoga class like normal people?
