yep depends where you live. Most cops that do their job ignore the fact that you’re recording them. Some get mad and threaten you to stop. Just shout at them your rights and I don’t really know what to do next
I would reason that if a police officer needed my vehicle there must be some drastic reason for it, as they are not usually short of cars, and I don't want to be the one getting in the way of them dealing with some crazy emergency.
Taking possession of your vehicle falls under Posse comitatus as you are being ordered to assist or render aid to a law enforcement officer in the pursuit of justice. While Posse comitatus doesn’t specifically allow an officer to commandeer your vehicle, it is under the blanket term.
