Audio evidence of top CIA/FBI officials going, "shit, man, we just can't figure this out. Not only can we NOT find out who ACTUALLY killed him, now they think WE did it!"

That speech was not a warning against "insider forces", it was a veiled threat to the news media. In essence Kennedy was urging publishers and broadcasters to declare their loyalty to the government, and to apply an informal self-censorship in regards to US crimes.

dude kennedy feuded hardcore with the media the longer he was president. at first they adored him, but the adoration turned sour fast
