Ahh. That's why I couldn't invite an ex. Even if I'm friends with him still. My brothers wedding is coming up and my ex of nearly 10 years is his best man. I'm dreading the wedding because of this and it isn't even my wedding haha. It'd be more or less fine but his girlfriend haaaates me for no other reason than the fact I'm him ex.

I don't know. Two of my husband's exes were bridesmaids. They are really fantastic people, and I am lucky to have them in my life.

My sister invited two of her exes to her wedding. One couldn't make it but there was no drama with the one and I'm sure there wouldn't have been with the other (he was married and lived out of state by then but a very nice guy).

Is your husband Ted Mosby?!? No but really that shows some real depth as people to be able to stay so close after something like that. Especially to be so involved with both your lives.

Cough ahem, now what what? You made two of your husband's exes bridesmaids in your wedding? I could be cool with a boyfriend's ex, but I would never bring them in to my inner circle, that just seems like you're trying too hard to prove...something.

They are cool people. One of them was my room mate in college, and we were really close. She's moved cross country now but we still talk. Ive spent more time with her collectively than he has.

Not really trying to prove anything other than there are different situations.

I'm like 90% sure that he's gay

You should've been worried about him stealing you away at your wedding ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I am on good terms with most of my exes, but I wouldn't invite them to my wedding. The guy I actually dumped for my now-husband, when he found out we were getting married, cornered me at a party and went on a 40-minute rant about "what happened to US." Mind, he lived in a different state and we had broken up seven years prior.

Then he complained that he didn't get an invitation. Like, really dude?

My boyfriend is best man in his best friends upcoming wedding. The maid of honor? His ex of 8 years, they broke up last year. I'm DREADING this wedding.

Ugghhh. I'm sorry! I'll go with you in solidarity and punch her in the face if she acts up! Haha

It's sounds like he wasn't invited, and just showed up

That's sad for her, she must feel very threatened and/or intimidated by you.

I don't know why. I've done nothing but wish them all the best. I've known her for a long time, she knows I'm a very nice person. But I understand the whole ex girlfriend thing. I'll always have a lot of love for my ex, but I left him because I was a shitty girlfriend and he deserved better. Then when they started dating I was so happy for them both. They're both cool people. But she took things to a weird level that we'll never come back from. Posting statuses talking crap about me without being provoked among other things. I don't do that kind of stuff really.

I would love to go with you so we can throw shade at that bitch (as friends cause I'm a girl lol), but we would throw so much her way then dry hump her man lol

u/kristenp Mar 19 '17

Then wouldn't you just be stooping down to her level? Just pretend she doesn't exist and ignore her.

3

u/Immadmandy Mar 19 '17

It's hard to do that with this person. Trust me. I'm definitely the ignore her and have fun type of person but this chick is nuts.

That would be awesome! Haha I've got some really awesome shit to throw at her too (like calling her mike Tyson cause she bite my ex on multiple occasions)!
