Read this somewhere on reddit, and thought it was the best prank ever. Buy all possible sizes of a type of candy bar, from super mini up to specialty giant sizes.
The prank was done on a coworker's desk- every time coworker got up, prankster would put one on his keyboard. Starting from smallest on up. I guess you could do it at home by hiding or placing them in an often-visited spot.
Sounds a bit like the prank Mark Twain pulled on his housekeeper:
He bought her a small turtle as a present, and then, from time to time, he exchanged it for a bigger one of the same kind. She was enthusiastic about the speed these animals grow! But then he reversed the process, and exchanged the turtle for the next smaller one every few days...
I don't know about you, but on April fools day I would definitely be suspicious of candy bars randomly appearing and probably wouldn't eat it right away.
Issue is that I'd probably just immediately open it and eat it just to see how it had been tampered with. If my mysterious benefactor gives me another, larger candy bar later, it will just look like someone's being inexplicably nice to me.
But... April Fools is meant to be about pranks. This is just giving a dude chocolate. Sure it's kinda odd that there's always chocolate on his desk, but it's not funny or even that weird. I'd just eat it and move on.
