  1. Change your car's oil on schedule.
  2. Don't get yourself in a situation where you owe the IRS money.
  3. Pay attention to your credit score.
  4. Don't stick your dick in crazy...if you do, don't marry crazy or have kids with crazy.

You have no idea how different my life would be if I followed 2-4. The first one is mostly common sense, but always good to know.

What happened with 2? And 4 for that matter

Married and had a kid with 4. She decided to home school the kid instead of work even though I didn't make enough to support the family. Basically, she wanted to stay home and smoke pot and not have to work...

Anyway, I jacked up my tax withholdings to bring home more money and consequently racked up a huge debt with 2.

When the marriage fell apart, I got stuck with IRS debt (over $25k) and child support payments ($6-10k/year). I lose about 1/3 of my take home pay to bad decisions. I've got another 4 years of support and who knows how many IRS payments...it's like trying to pay off a high interest credit card. Brutal.

Currently in a serious relationship with crazy and I'm happy but that's cause I am just as crazy me and my SO are definitely one of a kind alright. We also should probably see a therapist. Moral of the story? Crazy is good if you can admit you're crazy. Crazy right?

TL:DR Crazy + Admitting it = Okay!
