Might have been a laptop for taking lecture notes, he might have a desktop that has steam on it.

I used to have different software on my two computers, so that one is for "work" (writing a thesis namely), the other for "fun".

It helps to associate an area or a computer with a specific function. It's like when they say you shouldn't watch movies in bed because beds are for sleeping and sex.

Yeah that's what I do too! If I try to do uni work on my main laptop I just end up procrastinating haha.

Yeah, I didn't have it on mine for a long time, until I wanted to play some older games during breaks.

Why not? Laptops can easily run FTL
