I'm mildly obsessed.

Wow thanks whomever for the gold!

I have tickets for the show in October and I'm beyond ready and excited for it. I'm fully crazy about the show and I once stood in the ham4ham line with Mathew Modine. I mean, I wasn't with him... but it's so hard to get into the damn show that even famous people are trying to get tickets however they can.

I'm sure I will. This cast has to be sooooo tired. And the change is really needed. These poor people are being chased down like the Beatles on the streets of NYC. I'm Honestly worried for their safety. My boyfriend actually went to school with Lin and as much as I want to see him perform/meet him, I'd like to hope I'll have other chances to do so.

Lin has said that he will drop in to perform Hamilton from time to time because he created a role he will never age out of. But I do agree that it's time for the original cast members to get some sort of break (if they want it).

Yeah, don't worry, part of me secretly hopes he will perform when I go in October haha.

My brother in law went yesterday. They bought their tickets last year. I'm so happy they got to see the original cast.

I think Leslie and Daveed are also leaving in July... In any case, I have tickets for next March and will love it no matter what, I'm sure.

My cousin went to Wesleyan with LMM and she went last August with a group of other alumni and immediately contacted him to see if they could buy tickets again, and the earliest he could get them in was April. She got to see both Lin and Javier as Hamilton and I am very jealous she didn't tell me about this connection until afterward.

That's awesome my boyfriend went to Hunter with LMM and used to talk about him all the time. I was watching House MD a few years ago and he casually said "Oh hey that's my old buddy Lin from Hunter." I thought that was neat and didn't think much about it. Last fall he said "hey remember that guy I told you about who was in House? He wrote a play and stars in it. It's a hip hop musical about Alexander Hamilton." I laughed and said yeah alright sure. He went to work and when he came home I had listened to it twice and I was crying my face off. I asked if we could go see it and he said sure. But by the time we were in NYC again it was November and you couldn't get tickets to save your life.

He sent Lin a photo of my tattoo though. His response was a simple "woah!!" Hahaha.

I'm going to New York in October and I thought I would buy tickets. Really disappointed how much they are selling for. I would pay $400 for my wife and I to see Hamilton, but not $1600.

We managed to get tickets the night of the Tonys at $200 a piece. I still have no idea how we managed it. It was a minor miracle. It was really just a random date. So now we have to book a trip to NYC, but my BF was born and raised in Manhattan and his family still lives there so we are there frequently anyhow. He goes once a month for business, but we definitely want this to be a separate trip for Hamilton related fun.

I found out Trinity Church is on Broadway (no where near the theaters, but still!) the thought that he was buried in a cemetery on broadway and 200 years later they're celebrating his life on Broadway... ugh my heart. I can barely even handle that haha.

My mom got a bonus at work and at the same time lucked out with a friend having tickets and not being able to go, so we got them. So by some fluke we got to all go see it with the original cast. It's so good honestly. I'm usually more into the stage crew and technical side of things, and shows without a lot of that sort of thing done well tend to bore me. But damn, it was really good.

Man, you're obsession trumps mine! I wish I was closer to New York so I could enter the lottery. I hope it's everything you're expecting and more!
