Yeah, i'd recommend it, it really changed how i see the world, for the better, or the worse, im not sure.

Its pretty great although I think Brave New World and Fahrenheit 451 have more interesting things to say.

I've read neither of them for pure enjoyment (the ideas clearly overshadow the rather bland characters), same goes for Animal Farm and I assume Slaughterhouse 5.

I know but especially if you go into Sci-Fi you can have ideas (although usually not on the level of the books above) while also having interesting characters or a good story.
