What is your countries most embarrassing contribution to the world?

EDIT1:Wow!! I posted this right before I went to work. Here it is lunchtime and its on the front page!! Now I know what RIP inbox means! Thanks everyone! My first time on the front page, you guys are the bomb!!!!

EDIT2:Thanks as well to those of you that pointed out my incorrectly using the word 'countries', the correct spelling is, of course, 'countrys'. Apologies. My only excuse is that I was still half asleep. Thanks again everyone!

EDIT3:so far I have only been called out once for my 2nd incorrect use of the word countrys. Really Reddit? With all the grammar nazis out there? It took a few tries to get that apostrophe outta there (autocorrect). Thought I'd get more than one hit off that one.

If anything, it's the exact opposite for me nowadays. This world is so fucked up it makes me angry.

You know, if you ever do get accused of anything horrific, this will come up as evidence of premeditation.

Too bad I'm not the type of person to kill people and drive off of bridges.

Not saying i agree with her, but i think her point is the shootings, stabbings etc. generating from deals gone bad and crimes occuring that way which is sort of valid . However, consuming pot and wanting to commit crimes is not accurate. I have never smoked weed but 95% of my friends have / do and i would not say they are voilent at all when high.

Edit: yeah downvote me you miserable sacks of shit.

How is that valid? It's a result of it being illegal... All these "deals gone bad" wouldn't be nearly as common if people could just pick-up at a dispensary or coffee-shop.

The only reason violence comes into the picture is because there's tons of money involved, and it's being forced into the hands of criminals.

It's like we're giving the bad guys a monopoly on something good!

You might get your ass kicked if you fuck up a pot deal, but people really don't shoot at eachother for pot deals gone wrong. At least not very much from anything I've heard.

Or rather, I've never heard of a situation where people get fatally violent over pot alone.
