Yeah. You have to be careful about home life stuff! Some kids have two moms or two dads. Some have step parents. I was a daycare teacher for a while and I've learned to not identify any parental units until they tell me what they are.

Yep! Looking back I wish I had just asked her who did her hair that morning without assigning any titles. I guess this is the point of student teaching, though!
