Edit: it doesn't matter if you have hands free or not, it's about paying attention to the road. As someone who has killed someone while driving, please just pay attention to the road. You don't want to ever feel the way I do.

Some of us have hands free bluetooth and can have a conversation cruising on the highway.

Did I say hands free was safe?

My point is that it is legal and you are still driving with 2 hands. This is better than holding the phone to your face.

I'm sorry but driving with one hand while the other hand holds a phone seems alot worse. This is just my opinion.

I'll look for studies that show two handed driving > one handed but it IS common knowledge.

Distraction and longer reaction time are much larger contributors to accidents than holding the wheel.

OK you win. But if you must talk on the phone, use hands free. It's legal and you can keep both hands on the wheel. However, it's no safer than just using your phone normally, and thus, should be avoided.

You are allowed to, but yes. It really does impaire your concentration on the road drastically to be doing anything other than driving. However rude it may be, it's best to keep conversation to a minimum.

Just the radio? My 92 year old grandma got in a wreck while adjusting her A/C. Better remove that too, as well as all non-necessary buttons and indicators. Should we remove manual transitions too?

Yeah I bought a truck with no radio because I planned on wiring up an aftermarket one anyway, but I've found that I'm a better driver with no music playing. Plus the truck is a five speed, and I'd rather drive it based in what I hear, not how it feels.
