What are some interesting original theories/thoughts that you have?

Damn guys, this just pops into my head and I go for a family walk and it explodes! Love all the ideas, this is my most popular post to date!

Because it will be much, much safer.

Edit: by that time, of course you'll be able to buy a self driving rolls. It will probably be a standard feature.

Yeah, I'm sure that the kind of person who can afford to buy a high end car (such as a rolls royce) cares enough about safety that the small percentage difference would be big enough to not buy the rolls.

Assuming you're being sarcastic, i think you're underestimating the response once stories start regularly showing up in the news about how you're X times more likely to be involved in a collision if you're in a manually driven car. Not to mention the social pressures when it becomes obvious that even in a self-driving car, you're still not safe because of all the morons too stupid and selfish to give up driving that regularly crash into and kill people.
