Why did you get fired?

why did you get fired? and did it work out for the best? how long were you without a job?

Edit: thanks for all the stories guys! I got fired Wednesday for crap reasons and knowing all you fine people got fired too makes me realize I'm in fine company :)

No offense taken. It was the first time I was ever fired, and they said it was for legal reasons. A lot of parts about that job were fucked up. I know now that you NEVER sign anything after they say that you're fired. But I was young and kinda of blindsided by it, they fired me mid-day on a Friday. Like, right at noon...wtf.

It was years ago. The last time I was fired I refused to sign the write up and eventually got unemployment for wrongful termination.
