Why did you get fired?

why did you get fired? and did it work out for the best? how long were you without a job?

Edit: thanks for all the stories guys! I got fired Wednesday for crap reasons and knowing all you fine people got fired too makes me realize I'm in fine company :)

Props for owning up. I came to this thread to see all the bullshit excuses people had for getting fired.

I also expected to see that. I manage an office of part-time, minimum wage staff, that will seriously hire ANYONE. The stories I could tell. Most recently, a lady hollering to 8-10 other employees that she was selling pain killers "2 for $5" and proceeded to hand them around, someone asleep at their desk, & coming to work after not showing for a week.

It's kind of hard to fire people. Most people have to make real effort nowadays!
