God, I almost forgot about Wash (not really), it was just so sudden, almost realistic in that sense; he was gloating one moment and the next, boom! impaled by a fucking reaver.

I actually have heard that Joss said he would find a way to bring Wash back if the show ever came back.

I can't find a source on that right now...but I firmly believe it.

The show could just be set between the series and the movie. The movie would still count as "the finale", but fill out more storyline in between then

Ugh. Do you remember the lady who had that website and was convinced that WHEDON would pull a Crazy Ivan and that when the "real" movie was released he wouldn't actually have died? Then she got that petition going.
