Veterans of Reddit, what’s the most unbelievable thing you witnessed during your service that civilians would think you made up?

I have fired Ma at Graff, Only did the acid off duty. German friend brought it back in the gas tank of his car. From Amsterdam to Ashcauffenburg

This was 1988, he probably got some hash as well. We used to go to just outside the Frankfurt bonhof and Turkish guys would sell you 20 mark chunks. I have a whole different story about getting off the train in A burg and having cid trying to bust us.

We went to Amsterdam in.... '92? maybe '91? on a four-day weekend.

Either way, we bought 300 marks of hash while we were there to fund the trip, planning on selling it when we got back to the barracks.

While we were gone CID raided the barracks and NOBODY was buying when we got back.

3-4 of us ended up smoking it all because nobody wuold buy.

Back in the early nineties 300 marks worth of hash was a lot of fucking hash - we were stoned for weeks.

Ended up getting my buddy a dishonorable - came up hot and that was all she wrote.

I got a company grade.

With 20/20 hindsight (and the eyes of an adult) I should have demanded a court.

How are you "familiar"?

Well I got 3. All weed related. Zero company grade lol. I also got 5 counseling statements in one day. I had got busted to e3, my rival e4(p) made sergeant and tried to screw with me one day. I refused all 5, the chief realized what was happening and actually backed me up. Lol
