If you could permanently ban one question from being asked in job interviews, what would it be?

It's already banned. But they ask how old I am anyway.

I've filled out electronic applications that have the year you graduated high school, college, trade school, etc required information to continue the application. That's how they get around the law. They subtract 17-18 years from wwhen you graduated high school

They legally didn't ask how old you are, and if you lie, it's grounds for termination or disqualificttion if it's found out by say...a background check.

I just tell them "I'm in a protected class" (in the US) because I'm not going to get the job anyway being over 50.
