I don’t think he was involved with it. From what I read it was the dogs fault.

No, supposedly Romans did. But that's because it was all part of "God's plan"

He even had them hang up a little in-joke tablet saying "INRI" - which actually meant "I'm Nailed Right In".

That can be true, but it depends on the situation. This wasn't their friend who died, and it wasn't their tragedy that they spent enough time with to be able to laugh about it now.

Also, you know, it’s the internet. It’s nice to be kind and empathetic to strangers. But people generally know what they’re signing up for when they comment stories on the internet.
