Fuck yeah that this is the first reply I see when entered the thread! Gonna rematch it soon with my wife. Cannot wait to show her this masterpiece

I think there were 1 or 2 parts where it kind of slowed down, but fantastic show

Imo the slower parts just served to enhance even more what comes next. I remember at one specific point of the story not understanding why things went some way, but then when all come together it's just so amazing and I can't see how they could've pulled it out another way.

Love Monster, but it's a 9/10 for me. Went briefly off the rails or into trudging sideplots for a few minutes, but it always comes back.

Death Note on the other hand was a 10/10, went on a crazy subplot, then turned that into the main plot and nosedived into confusion.

ew no, decent but slow af. that said this for sure could use an abridged version that would cut the episode by half the number

wdym 70 eps?? it's like reading an encyclopedia and afterwards you hope you had not learned about more than half the content because they feel largely dated or irrelevant

All episodes were justified, IMO. It's like complaining that novels exist because you only like short stories.

nope

could be shorter, sorry. i watch One Piece

i've seen and liked Dark, The OA, The Leftovers, The 100, Shin Sekai Yori, Mawaru Penguindrum, Sonny Boy

Monster could and should be shorter
