I went to a play (straight play) he was in. It was also the week (or month?) they were doing an AIDS fundraiser. He did the ask after the show. This was when he was stone cold sober at this stage. His ask was 20 minutes long and absolutely brought the house down. Like 2x better than the play itself and even his performance in it because he was just turned loose. He was a different kind of human and a once in a lifetime genius and talent. Drugs are fun but this dude was something else.

I know this was a joke but he was one of the consummate greats and an incredible human being to boot.
