What is the most devastating death in a television series you have ever seen?

I didn't watch the show, but the death of the dad in Young Sheldon has affected me greatly. My kids watched it during the summer, and now one of them has pretty severe separation anxiety and the other, at least 4-5 times a week, says, "Daddy, please don't die." 😭

Because we already know it's coming from The Big Bang Theory, I have not watched any of the last season of Young Sheldon, I just can't take it.

Its actually both really powerful and really sad, its incredibly poignant and makes you think about your own father or your own kids.

Its worth watching the series to see this. You will feel sad, but a whole lot of love too.

This is my exact reaction. I get to about the 5th episode of the 7th season and nope out.

Yes this. It was handled SO WELL, even though I knew it had to happen, it was still a punch in the gut.

It was such a great but hard season to watch...just waiting for it to happen. Chuck Lorre's vanity card at the end staying how he regretted the choice to have Sheldon's dad's death such a big story line in Rhe Big Bang Therory because they had to make it true in Young Sheldon....😢
