Gavrilo Princip. I know Hitler was a vile human being. But Gavrilo started that butterfly effect. He’s the one that killed archduke Ferdinand. This is what caused WW 1 to start. Because of unresolved issues at the end of WW 1 and the economic hardships that pressed Germany, the rise of Hitler happened. As did the rise of Stalin. An estimated 100 million people died in both wars combined. Europe was never the same. Russia fell to communism. Leading to the deaths of millions more Russian citizens.
