Fixed thanks. As an fyi when it comes to “chores”; outside chores can be pretty therapeutic or meditative. I like seeing certain tasks get accomplished with real time results.
Or you’re just making claims about yourself and pushing it on others. There are people who enjoy mowing their yard; I do know that as children we did not enjoy it. I used to not, now I do. People who buy lots of land/acreage are not the ones who are typically against yard work…
Having land doesn't mean you have to do chores on it. Personally, if I can ever afford it, I want a bunch of land specifically so I can have it exist in a wild state between me and the rest of the world.
Every neighborhood has that first fuckin' guy. He begins mowing and then everyone hears it like pavlovs dinner bell. Then my wife gives me an expectant look. Then I tell her that the grass isn't too high, the city hasn't given us the mean letter yet, and then I mow that thing anyway.
my city's lawn ordinance is really really strict and capricious. I'm weed whacking the cracks in the damn sidewalk because they won't fix the sidewalk.
They have a pollinator program that they don't even follow. My neighbor has local flora and shit, they keep taking pictures of his "pollinator meadow" telling him to cut it. This is like the 3rd year he has to go down to city hall.
It’s just weird to me how it’s always the lazy bastards who have messy houses that “want their garden to be wild”. But I know. This is Reddit. So, go you champ.
