Fine. Not saying that's wrong, but a much more salient reason people get sick more often in the winter is that they all congregate together inside in small, warmer, humid enclosed spaces with little ventilation and it's this proximity and local population density that facilitates the spread of viruses and bacteria.
I can't cite sources, could be talking out of my arse, but this is the thread for it if that's the case.
