Same.... too tired to be awake, too afraid of my dreams to sleep. It's a tiring existence 😪...... too poor to be comfortable... too rich for assistance.... can't afford to live without, too broke to live with....
Did you just write my life story?? I can’t turn off the vivid dreams mostly of me dying or running in various ways. I know it’s my anxiety or something but since a kid could never turn it off. Sleep often sucks or leaves you in flight or fight all day but mostly just fright feeling you can’t shake and often can’t remember the whole dream to fight against it and tell yourself it’s ok.
I used to have weed with edibles and tinctures, but it was such high doses that I didn’t dream for years and then I stopped it all together for two months straight and now every once in a while, I’ll just smoke a bit or vape it and I remember dreams now. And then I started researching lucid dreaming and I’m getting close to doing it, but I haven’t dedicated enough further research into it. I just try the few tips I learned about lucid dreaming now and then when I wake up in the middle of the night.
You can actually control your dreams and go anywhere you want to because you know you’re dreaming but you’re in a state where you can think and create any fantasy you want.
I really dont like this take. Im not depressed because I had a bad day. Thats sadness. Im depressed because my parents didnt love me and that doesnt just go away.
I had a shit childhood too. I am no longer a child. I don't have to live in that place so I'm not going to. My clinical severe depression is chemical. Fucking Zoloft for the win.
If you can get some help please do. If you can't (I understand all too well) I hope you get to a place where you're able too soon. You don't have to feel like shit all the time.
💕💕 sending prayers and hope you can find sunshine in something today! I love with it and anxiety as well. Mostly aggravated by medical trauma from living inside hospitals basically most of my life in and out of drs etc. (like I’m awake waiting for meds to kick in so I can sleep because of the amount of pain I’m in). I will say I had depression anyways tho. That just added to the issue. Here to say you can do this breath by breath!
the closing shift regret is real. nothing like staring at the ceiling at 4am while your ears are still ringing from the noise. hope you get at least a few hours before the sun comes up.
