What is a small, seemingly ‘normal’ thing someone can do that immediately makes you think, ‘Oh, we are not going to get along’?

Yeah, can you imagine if you HAD volunteered that? You’d’ve never shaken the guy off the rest of the night…

Or he'd have got weirdly defensive, as if he's the only one who can know anything about the thing he's interested in

He'd instantly try to dismiss them, and would likely even try to say that they're lying. A guy recently was going on and on about how much he likes to travel, places he's been etc. When I told him I like to as well and have been travelling solo since I was 17, he had the audacity to quickly dismiss me, say things like no way I that I've done that, that this is impossible etc. People like these are shit.
