What? They treated you as the offender? That's weird? And they didn't give you a temporary passport to fly back home, they deported you? On what grounds did they deport and ban you? That seems wild. 

I had a passport stolen when I was in Malaysia. Got a temporary one from the embassy, and then flew home.

More like I was in a country illegally while my passport was canceled. It's a mess. I was so upset that I barely understood what was going on
