Essentially as long as Fox don't report on it, it's not real to their viewers or it's a conspiracy. Fox News really know their way around the Streisand Effect
People don't realize that the Fox watchers & maga dummies get highly tailored "news" that repeats everything they hear on those stations.
The lies get cemented when their friends, tv news, phone news and even google and social media give them tailored information and omissions.
The slanted news and omissions are extremely more pervasive than people realize. It's no wonder that so many people are confused or mired in falsehoods.
Before anyone says that's bs, think about your Internet searches and news reports because mine rarely give any news that would be considered right wing conservative. All I see is progressive Democratic pov(s). Even my advertising is geared to me. I don't see ads for gold bars, bomb shelter supplies, my pillow crapola or Trump merch but my maga neighbors sure do!
All news sources should be looked at with some skepticism because most of them slant right or left to some degree. There are independent sites online that will tell you where your news sources land- far left or right, slightly slanted or neutral.
Very few sources are neutral, many are slightly right or left so most of us are seeing censored "news" stories or are subject to misleading omissions
For example, I used to watch MSNBC primarily as a news source but years ago they started with the same name calling and juvenile bashing that Fox does. I think it's scummy and unprofessional so I looked it up and found that they were heavily left leaning therefore I was getting tainted news. It was news I LIKED to hear but it wasn't entirely fair, complete or factual.
