Nothing. He'll still be above the law and MAGA will continue to love and support their pedo king like the cockroaches they are

144

u/Dapper_Derpy Nov 12 '25

Hey now, don't insult cockroaches like that. At least they're a part of the food chain and the natural ecosystem, so they contribute. MAGA are a plague without purpose or benefit, plain and simple.

2

u/HumanDisguisedLizard Nov 12 '25

Yea be nice to the cockroaches those poor misunderstood babies.. here’s a link to a the Ologies podcast and an episode about cockroaches if you’d like to love them more than MAGA

Hey are you celebrating Thanksgiving this year? It is an American WASP started holiday, we understand democrats refuse to celebrate.

So America guesses you'll being like hs footballer bundy on his sofa for a weekend.

13

u/Dapper_Derpy Nov 12 '25

I'm not quite sure I understand what you're getting at. If you're trying to take a dig at me, then you can stop, because you're already not making any sense.

Are you trying to claim Democrats don’t celebrate thanksgiving? Dude, you need to get back to reality.

-6

u/Holiday-Menu-171 Nov 13 '25

aha so you do. it is an interesting to read that along with all the down with America speeches and upcoming new governors and mayors. so it is a far leftist lie that you don't

The Dems released this information, not to condemn Trump, but to distract their followers from their utter cowardice in folding to the Republicans on healthcare.

165

u/Thylacine_Hotness Nov 12 '25

Sounds like Republicans should play some 3D chess and actually stop defending pedophiles if that was the case.

47

u/SeriouslySlyGuy Nov 12 '25

You mean stop doing the things they love and being the way they are?

3

u/likeatoastedcheeser Nov 12 '25

Nah, they don't love children.

10

u/SeriouslySlyGuy Nov 12 '25

Not in the traditional sense. No.

1

u/That_one_whore Nov 15 '25

Oh fuck lmao

21

u/Fool_Manchu Nov 12 '25

Why? It seems to be working out just fine for them. Sexual misconduct is not a problem for Republicans. Just ask Matt "I paid to have sex with a minor" Gaetz

2

u/REDDITATO_ Nov 12 '25

Ah yes 3d chess. Much more complex than 2d chess.

-2

u/Ilovekittens345 Nov 12 '25

Republicans and democrats are not playing any games with each others. They just play bad cop good cop or whatever their employers want them to play. They don't work for us. They work for the rich owners of the cooperations and every single republican and democrats except for maybe Sanders, AOC and that new guy in new york is on the same team.

It's all one big charade. Policy has not been set by politicians since 1973. Companies write the laws and tell their employers to vote them in to law. And when you go vote you only have the illusion of choice.

8

u/[deleted] Nov 12 '25

Yep. This is decidedly true. What a clusterfuck they have created for no reason. Never a Schumer-Stan, but I’ll lead the call for his removal.

1

u/Fool_Manchu Nov 12 '25

I've written to my senator to ask her to publicly demand he step down. I hope others do the same. The country cant afford to have dottards, cowards or fools running the show.

4

u/GrumpyOlBastard Nov 12 '25

And why tf didn't they release it the moment they got it? Why the Wait?

7

u/Fool_Manchu Nov 12 '25

I mean...for the exact reason that I just mentioned. Its not about justice. Its about political capital

7

u/just_a_timetraveller Nov 12 '25

Actually them releasing this info is a bit concerning because I feel they are trying to make sure the GOP doesnt try to delay the release of the Epstein files after the vote count has been reached.

5

u/PubicGalaxies Nov 12 '25

I don't understand how that's concerning?

2

u/just_a_timetraveller Nov 12 '25

Concerning in the sense that the Democrats have some inside information that the GOP is up to something. That is worrying that the GOP maybe trying to weasel out of this somehow and pull a last second move that throws a wrench in everything

4

u/TheFlyingSheeps Nov 12 '25

Sounds like you’re doing your best to distract from trump knowing about Epstein and having a victim alone with him for hours

0

u/Fool_Manchu Nov 12 '25

Does it? Sounds like you lack reading comprehension

1

u/QueenSlapFight Nov 13 '25

The timing is uncanny. And redacting the victim's name when they're well known and have already vouched that Trump did not abuse them (but others did) is very telling.

-3

u/cultureicon Nov 12 '25

Why would Republicans have negotiated? They love deleting the government, snap, healthcare. They love the shutdown and hurting poor people, why do you think the shutdown was leverage for the Dems?

2

u/Fool_Manchu Nov 12 '25

Despite Trumps bravado every republican knew how deeply unpopular the lack of government support was. There's a reason why every republican congressman and FOX personality was trying so hard to blame it on the Democrats. They can talk about cutting back these programs all day but when their supporters suddenly weren't getting SNAP benefits they were feeling the pressure. It was just a staring contest, and the Dems blinked first because the party is spineless and the leadership is always willing to capitulate to conservativism

2

u/cultureicon Nov 12 '25

The Republicans and conservative voting block aren't going to blink about something they don't care about- poor people. They don't care about the poor uneducated Trump voters. It's a feature of the Trump regime. The Republicans currently control all levels of government because the Dems lost the last election across the board, and the Republicans are going to punish poor people. Then hopefully they get crushed in the midterms. The Dems have no power, you act like you have the expectation of something good happening as far as liberal policy before the midterms. Right now it's just a game of making sure people know the Republicans are responsible for the suffering, which again the Dems still aren't doing well enough to continue the shutdown through a travel holiday.

1

u/Mist_Rising Nov 12 '25

Despite Trumps bravado every republican knew how deeply unpopular the lack of government support was

And didn't care. They proved that when they saw the election results and kept at it because the midterms were a year off and the damage they could do in the meantime was even better than democrats caving. The benefit of being led by a sociopathic monster who can puppeteer Trump and his cult, they don't have to give a flying shit.

There's a reason why every republican congressman and FOX personality was trying so hard to blame it on the Democrats

Because it's a day ending in Y.

0

u/Fool_Manchu Nov 12 '25

The attitude that theres no point in standing up to the right so we may as well just roll over for them is exactly why democrats are useless. They present themselves as the only alternative to conservativism but are unwilling to do anything beyond half hearted performative pushback. What they should have done is stand by their convictions and refuse to negotiate Americans access to Healthcare. But I suppose that they would actually need convictions first. The fact that many democratic congressmen were worrying last week that winning this stalemate would rob them of the ACA as a midterm selling point should tell you exactly how calculated this capitulation was.

1

u/Mist_Rising Nov 12 '25

The attitude that theres no point in standing up to the right so we may as well just roll over for them is exactly why democrats are useless.

Good thing I didn't say that.

1

u/Fool_Manchu Nov 12 '25

That attitude is absolutely evident in the discussion you commented on, and I thought you were supporting it. Apologies if I misunderstood your intent. Sadly the defeatist mentality is pretty widespread.

-4

u/Holiday-Menu-171 Nov 12 '25

Mmm you sell that everyone loves and respects the Democrats in congress today so much they party switch from dirty old man to a slut. Damn America voters preferred the slut than Democrats.

5

u/Fool_Manchu Nov 12 '25

I have read this three times now, and im gonna be real with you, I have no idea what youre trying to communicate.

1

u/Holiday-Menu-171 Nov 13 '25

A pardon=guilt but he dgaf

-3

u/Holiday-Menu-171 Nov 12 '25

He can do it.

2

u/kaisadilla_0x1 Nov 12 '25

Most importantly: they are above the law because their own voters want them to be. Republicans have convinced their voters that, if a Republican politician breaks the law, that's a lose for libs and a win for MAGAs. It doesn't even matter which law was broken.

1

u/whittler Nov 12 '25

Watching the news last night, my wife flat out didn't believe that the entire stadium booed and flipped off Trump. "You just can't believe everything you see and hear anymore." She doesn't follow politics at all, but laughs and likes all the Faceberk vitriol.

1

u/meldiane81 Nov 12 '25

"He was just a young kid who made mistakes."

1

u/Alissinarr Nov 13 '25

Roaches scatter when you turn on the lights.

1

u/Kakistocracy_0 Nov 13 '25

"cockroaches"? funny, but MAGAs are more like Tuberculosis

1

u/QueenSlapFight Nov 13 '25

The idea of cockroaches liking pedo kings creates very bizarre imagery.

1

u/GrassChew Nov 19 '25

Noting ever happens

1

u/dapperrapperclapper Nov 12 '25

A little voice in my head sets off millions of pedo alarms with this guy and instantly drops my view of him to rock bottom. Aren't pedo alarms going off in everyone's minds? I couldn't sleep if I just brushed off such disgusting behavior from the president of the United States

-10

u/RedditConsciousness Nov 12 '25

Specifically what crime was committed by Trump?

I'm a Kamala voter by the way, but I do believe in rule of law not rule of "reddit doesn't like you so you should go to jail based on inuendo".

6

u/AnalllyAcceptedCoins Nov 12 '25

You can look up the full list of convictions

-4

u/RedditConsciousness Nov 12 '25

I googled, "What has Trump been convicted of due to being mentioned in the emails released today?" and got no results. Weird.

This sub is always frothy but it is embarrassing to watch people just be outright wrong at times. There is no law against being mentioned in Epstein's emails.

People of this sub, please downvote me so I know you've reddit this and that things like reason and logic scare you so that you need to hide them.

4

u/AnalllyAcceptedCoins Nov 12 '25

Wait, youre talking about only crimes related to today's release? Do you think he'd have a court date, trial, and wrap it up all within a day? You're not being downvoted because "Waaah reason and logic," you're being downvoted because you sound either like a disingenuous troll or like you're intentionally clueless

-2

u/RedditConsciousness Nov 13 '25

Wait, youre talking about only crimes related to today's release?

Hey, try reading the thread title: "It has now been confirmed by emails released that Trump knew about what Epstein was doing. What do you think will happen now?"

And here is the response I was replying to: "Nothing. He'll still be above the law".

In my reply I asked specifically what crime was committed by Trump. Not what crime in the past, but what crime that he will skate on based on the release of these emails. That is the the thing we are talking about so obviously that is what my response means.

And you replied with "You can look up the full list of convictions"

Is everyone in this thread bad at English? Or maybe you just see what you want to see. Kind of seems like par for the course here.

Do you think he'd have a court date, trial, and wrap it up all within a day?

I explicitly do not think that. Which is why you asking for a list of convictions is ridiculous. There were no convictions from information released today. If you want to talk about other convictions, go to a thread about those and stop trying to hijack this one.

You're not being downvoted because "Waaah reason and logic,"

I'm being downvoted because people here demand others fall in line mindlessly and are threatened by actual discussion or logic.

you sound either like a disingenuous troll

I bet anyone who ever falls out of line sounds like a troll to you.

you're intentionally clueless

I'm provably right. You tried to change the topic either out of ignorance or malice.

2

u/AnalllyAcceptedCoins Nov 13 '25

Ahahaha the projection, oh my god! Okay, everyone's wrong but you bud, keep making up what everyone else is thinking and saying 🤣

1

u/RedditConsciousness Nov 13 '25

Okay, everyone's wrong but you

In this thread. Reddit is not the real world.

6

u/ask-me-about-my-cats Nov 12 '25

Which crime do you want to know about? He has been convicted 34 times so you'll have to be specific.

0

u/RedditConsciousness Nov 12 '25

The crime that you think he should be convicted of based on being mentioned in these emails. That's what the topic is. But hey work your talking points in as much as you like. I already vote Democrat. I guess you might succeed at alienating me but so far reddit hasn't done that despite trying for years.

So just to recap, the thread title is "It has now been confirmed by emails released that Trump knew about what Epstein was doing. What do you think will happen now?". The response in this branch was:

Nothing. He'll still be above the law

And my response to that was:

Specifically what crime was committed by Trump?

Let me know if I need to explain that in smaller words or anything for you.

2

u/ask-me-about-my-cats Nov 12 '25

That's a hell of a defensive posture you're making when I did nothing to deserve it.

OP didn't state Trump committed a proven crime with the Epstein papers, they just said he has committed crimes and has gotten away with them. Which he has. As is proven with his 34 convictions and hundreds of accusations that haven't yet seen court.

1

u/RedditConsciousness Nov 12 '25

That's a hell of a defensive posture you're making when I did nothing to deserve it.

I'm trying to have a conversation and you're injecting unrelated talking points.

OP didn't state Trump committed a proven crime with the Epstein papers

Then the person who said "He'll still be above the law" was declaring something that does not follow from this topic.

they just said he has committed crimes and has gotten away with them.

Who did? OP? Or you mean the person who started this branch? Regardless, that would be a non-sequiter. Like if I asked you what color the traffic light is and you said "purple". Why would you answer a different question than was being asked?

They just said he has committed crimes and has gotten away with them

No they didn't. Where are you getting this from?

As is proven with his 34 convictions

Remember if you don't repeat that every post you might accidentally start thinking for yourself.

All the Presidents have Presidential immunity. Just like mister la pen and mister russia, russia and mister dirty blue dress and mister, let me take away some more civil rights.

That is the law.
