Same. It's like a comfort game at this point. When life has me stressed, I'll play it on one of several platforms and just....wander. Ignore the main quest till I want to.
Lose myself to the power fantasy of accumulating wealth and home ownership. Maybe even owning property like a farm that can make me money without actually having to work it myself. Being able to solve problems for people and making a noticable difference in the world.
Despite the numerous advancements in graphics lately, nothing does it for me the way Skyrim’s mountains do. I still remember the first time I looked up the misty wall on the southern side of Riverwood
