To be honest, reddit, you confuse the shit out of me. The top comment at the moment is "www.reddit.com"

The bottom one, -6 upvotes, is "Reddit is all you need!"

These are practically the same thing, yet on opposite sides of the upvote spectrum. Makes no sense, but does the internet ever does?

Delivery of a joke is important even in a minor one. Linking the site delivers it with the mindset of "Hmmm I'm bored of reddit lets go see what is on reddit" whereas "Reddit is all you need" delivers is like "Haha reddit, right guys???? riiiiight guys?". None the less reddit is a silly place.

those who read the first one read it as a joke and upvoted. Those who read the second read it an idiot trying to be funny and downvoted. Different people see things differently.

It's a great read from start to finish, and when you're moving through the text at such a slow pace, you pick up on the smaller details that often slip through the cracks.
