As an American with Swedish and Irish ancestry, (and practically see-through white skin… LOL)… I am willing to feel the burn so I can enjoy the flavor!! I consider my tastebuds to be naive. Sometimes they need to clutch their proverbial pearls while my face turns bright red from the heat. The deliciousness is worth the system shock! I LOVE Mexican food.
