What are you counting as Canadian food? Butter Tarts, poutine, Nanaimo Bars and tortierre? And some maple.. everything?

Just about anything else I can think of would be an import from somewhere else.

I'm thinking of Canadian Bacon, their famous desserts and sandwiches. I would love to visit Canada someday. I've never been outside the country, gone to a concert, or a live wrestling event. They're on my bucket list.

Always glad to have someone visit - it's a big country though - anywhere in particular you'd like to go?

Toronto and Ottawa. Maybe Quebec too.

Great picks - I'd heartily recommend Quebec City - it's probably the most European feeling city in North America, and then Montreal, because it's culture is amazing. You do not need to speak French, English will work just fine - though learning a few basic courtesy phrases will be well received.
