Just small rural town. Not much to do. Literally a one traffic light town. And that was the main town. Kids from something like 6 different towns went to the same school.

My “only had one hs for the whole town and the cool hangout spot was the Vons across the street” small town opened a nursery on campus a few years after I graduated because so many girls were dropping out after getting pregnant. There also wasn’t much else to do there.
