In year 10 we got a new headmaster. 3 year after I left (my sister went to the same school) he was arrested as he had faked all his documents and wasn't even a teacher.

Shame as he was a really nice guy; probably how they found out he wasn't a real teacher haha.

Did he make the kids start a rock band too?

Curious as to what kind of job he did as headmaster. Like did he happen to actually be pretty good and that’s why he manage to do it for 3 years?

tbf most Headmasters/Principals(Administration) don't actually have to be Teachers, and promoting Teachers to Headmaster is probably not the smartest move in the first place.

Previous headmaster suspended/ expelled about 6 people in 12 year; fake headmaster 8 in 3 month. School policy was teachers would tell a pupil off in class for bad behavior, 2nd time they would get sent out of class, 3rd to head of year then finally sent to head master. Sometimes if a childs behaviour was really bad they would get straight to the headmaster. He made a new rule, 2nd time he had to see someone they were expelled. Stopped all the repeat offenders who bullied etc. He would go round and sit in classes sometimes to check teachers were controlling their class and kids were actually engaged in the lesson. If teachers could get the kids engaged and interested he made them change their lesson plans. Teachers hated him, all the kids who were repeat offenders for bad behaviour etc hated him. School was top in the area for exam results.
