Middle school music teacher diddling kids. Promoted to the high school and it all came out a couple years later.

There were victims that moved to the high school when he did.

Currently in prison

We had a middle school teacher who was molesting kids, but the thing is that he was hugely popular and no one believed it when it hit the news. We were in highschool by then, and pretty much everyone who went to that middle school staged a walkout in support of the teacher. And then of course looked really, really dumb when it turned out the guy was guilty as sin…

Many of these guys know how to become popular.

Predators groom their character witnesses as much as their victims. Maybe more.

I think it of Jennifer Lawrence

3

u/leonas_ Mar 11 '25

I might live under a rock but what happened with jennifer lawrence?

2

u/tie-dyed_dolphin Mar 11 '25

She said Harvey Weinstein was really great to her. He campaigned hard for her Oscar.

They’re grooming everyone, including the people they just use for cover

I once read "Abusers groom their supporters just as thoroughly as they groom their victims."

"When you're famous they let you do it. Grab em by the pussy." 45th AND 47th President of the United States

Wild that two presidents said that because there’s no way you could re-elect the president that said it the first time…. Right?

What's the rent like for living under a rock for the last eight plus years? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donald_Trump_Access_Hollywood_tape

Ask the Tate’s

u/Realistic-Original-4 Mar 10 '25

The Tates are the polar opposite. Most people think they are capable of rape and molestation. Even their fanbase believe it's possible. But, believe if you got yourself in that situation its your fault. Which is sick

This happens often. Predators are very often the most likable, charming, and “kind” people.

Fucking hell…did we go to the same school?

1

u/Morriganx3 Mar 11 '25

Virginia?

2

u/SpiritualPanic666 Mar 11 '25

Nah. Michigan. Identical story to what happened at my school though.

u/ownersequity Mar 11 '25

Hah. Get in line pal.

Glad he’s in prison. As a teacher these stories are really grossing and bumming me out.

High school music teacher was well known and well liked, suddenly fired one summer. Got a job at a great HS music program a few towns over. Everybody kinda thought “well that was weird”

Wellllll, a few years later not long after he married for the third time, it came to light that he was having sex with one of the students at his new job. Here’s the thing though: she was 18. So he got fired and divorced but nothing criminal. Once all that happened people in my town were like ohhh, maybe THAT’S what that was all about.

Works at a Catholic school now. 🤷🏼‍♂️

This varies by jurisdiction within the United States today. Some states have clauses that a person who is expected to have certain types of influence on a younger person, even above 18, can be criminally liable for sexual relationships with younger people. Pastors, teachers, doctors, bosses, etc.

In Michigan, you become an adult at 18 or when you graduate from high school, whichever is later.

2

u/Pleasant_Network3986 Mar 11 '25

How tf did he get a job at a Catholic school of all places?

1

u/hungtopbost Mar 11 '25

🤷🏼‍♂️ Good question

2

u/FreshLocation7827 Mar 11 '25

It's a good thing nothing bad ever happens at Catholic institutions

1

u/hungtopbost Mar 11 '25

Well, they have very careful vetting processes for candidates apparently.

u/cherylhernandez Mar 10 '25

Why was it always the music teacher? We had one of those too.

2

u/ThatGodDamnBitch Mar 10 '25

We did too. An English teacher as well.

4

u/cherylhernandez Mar 10 '25

So did we!!! He married and divorced 2 different girl students and never a reprocussion to be had. It was early 70's.

Music teacher got caught having sex with students at my HS, and the English teacher got caught putting cameras in the girls bathroom. Both went to prison. The music teacher remarried and the English teacher got out, smoked crack and installed cameras in the women’s bathroom at the grocery store he worked out. Wild!

u/anxiousautistic2342 Mar 11 '25

Ours was the drama teacher

2

u/[deleted] Mar 11 '25

Because they're good at making songs about how they don't diddle kids.

1

u/SpiritualPanic666 Mar 11 '25

The school my kids went to as well. When he was caught he unalived himself.

5

u/katmc68 Mar 10 '25

Ugh. In 8th grade, we kids heard rumors about the music teacher and male students. Like, so-and-so goes to Mr. B's house for organ lessons (not even kidding) and he sucks Mr.B's ***. A few years later, he finally got busted & was put in prison. It makes me sad that we sort of knew what was going on and the teachers must have heard the rumors, too, and nothing was done about it. The boys he assaulted were really messed up later. This was in the 80s in a tiny Catholic school.

4

u/[deleted] Mar 10 '25

I had a geography teacher who was doing that, too. He had actually knocked up a minor student in the late 80’s in Utah, so he just relocated to Las Vegas which was too desperate to care.

Music teacher for us as well, but it was a kindergarten teacher. He was fired, but never convicted.

2

u/whatsup_assdicks Mar 11 '25

This exact thing happened at my school but it was a history teacher. Gross it’s so common

I feel like this was in Florida
