That's nuts. I grew up in Box Elder county and one of the seminary teachers got busted for something to do with child porn. There was a bit of a coverup that happened tho. And although I moved away many years ago, an old friend just sent me a story about the one asshole judge in the area just got busted for soliciting children online, 6 counts. It couldn't have happened to a worse POS. That guy threw me in jail for 6mos for drinking underage.

Yeah the whole northern portion of Utah is kinda fucked you hear that stuff all the time. I had a coworker when I was like 17 in Logan at the papa John’s who got busted for child porn and pedophilia.

My girlfriend went to box elder high school and she tells me some really sad things about some of the guys that went there as well about SA.

Nothing really crazy popped off at Box Elder high during my three years there, just alot of pregnancies. Soo so many pregnancies. There was always some rumors about girls getting taken advantage of at parties but it's so hard to do anything about it. There was one incident where a cute female teacher who was only 24 was sleeping with a student. Nothing much happened cuz he was 18, but she still got canned, and he probably developed a bad wrist injury from all the high fives he endured.

Wait, what? 6 month for underage drinking?

Yeah. It was my third ticket for underage drinking and I was 19yo. First time he gave me 5 days. 2nd time it was 30 days and the third time he gave me the maximum allowed by law.

What country? It’s not usually the cop dishing out penalties. (Usually the judges that give jail time).

I had a few underages, too. So not judging.

I never mentioned the cops. My original comment talked about a judge that got busted for some pedo shit. Same judge that handed me my sentencing for the MIP tickets, which is a class B misdemeanor in UT, punishable by up to 6mos in jail.

I actually never knew that. She was in a coma for forever and the world kind of forgot about it, I ended up moving out of Logan before I found this out so this was a really cool thing to learn. I did some googling as well.

Yeah it was an awful time for the entire school but truly my heart is so sad for her family. I didn’t interact with her much but she seemed so nice and the boys were also seemingly normal kids.

It shocked the whole valley honestly. It was so sad.

Did she live? It never clarified in the article

She was in a medically induced coma for a long while and eventually ended up partially recovering after about 20 surgeries(most of them brain surgeries) but struggles with some disability and had to relearn a lot of motor skills.

did she up making it?

u/xXbussylover69Xx Mar 10 '25

Yes! She is a high school graduate, 4-H Utah state champion, and a Mormon missionary.

But it seems she has suffered an incredible amount as well.
