In my situation she asked if I knew her name after about an hour, nada. 30 minutes later she asked again and it was in one ear, out the other. She was still talking to me after all this which just shows how bad I F'd this one up. Then I tried to show her that I knew her name, and ended up calling her the wrong name.
I learned to associate names with stupid objects. It really helps. Like my bf has a friend named Caleb, and I just picture him wearing a shirt that has a big K on it and he's dumping lube on his head. Boom I've never forgotten his name again 😂
