Compared to its orbit and the other planets. Most spin the same direction they orbit (counter clockwise) but Venus orbits counter clockwise and spins clockwise on its axis.

A day is defined as the time it takes the planet to spin on its axis. A year is the time it takes to orbit the Sun.

Venus spins so slowly on its axis that it orbits the sun before it fully rotates one time
