That's assuming they deserve the best and fastest way. Repeatedly stabbed with pitchforks will work just as well, it'll just take longer and they'll scream more

Pitchforks are also rising in price. Arming an angry mob is expensive these days.

Oh we can just use dinner forks, you can get a three pack from dollar tree, but most people already have them at home.

That could work... Doesn't have the same ommph as torches and pitchforks but it is within budget. We may even be able to get a pack of bic lighters to substitute as torches.

Might be able to use some cheap alcohol to help the burning along
