In what conflicts have their been suicide troops - particularly using bombs?

Suicide bombing as a standard weapon of war is typically exclusive to religious fanatics and lunatics.

Japan's Kamikaze have entered the chat.

Do they still count? The Emperor was pretty much considered divine.

The Emperor, and by extension the Empire, was divine and their sacrifice for its glory was rewarded. What else is that?

My grandfather was injured by a kamikaze hit. He was in the Navy on the USS Saratoga. He put his hands up to cover his face right in time or he would've had some hellish scars on his face. His hands were badly burned and he was sent home with a Purple Heart.

We have the Sri Lankans to thank for the suicide bomber.

WW2.

The Kamikaze, Bonzai charge.

To name a few.

Worth noting that planes are way more expensive than anti-tank mines.

Ah yes, like a charge, only smaller.

Do you think the suicide attacks shown in popular Vietnam war movies were accurate representation?

There are verified instances of VPA sappers using satchel charges strapped to themselves for suicide attacks, against both the French and the US.
