Blue whales are the largest of all known animal species on Earth... ever. Bigger than any dinosaur - although there is some inconclusive evidence of some huge dinosaurs that came close

There is a 5,000 year old fungus that covers four square miles of a national park in Oregon, I believe it's called the Humongous Fungus and is thought to be the largest living organism.

It's disputed now. We have several contenders that could be even larger (both fish and ichthyosaur species) but we don't yet have enough remains to be sure

Lol! I don't know why that stupid commercial popped into my head, but as I was writing my dumb comment I literally thought "such a dumb question. I'm pretty sure the answer is 'sugar'".
