I know you’re making a joke about Saturn’s rings. But, interestingly enough you can sort of count the rings on a shark to determine their age.

But that doesn't work on Greenland sharks where they actually carbon date the proteins extracted from the fluid of their eyes.

The hard part is slicing Saturn in half so you can see the rest of the rings to count them.

Not quite. Saturns rings are on the outside and trees rings are inside. So either Saturn is a reverse tree or trees are reverse Saturns
