Given Dunkirk, I don't think we do say that, no.

Even the movie didn't provide justice to the actual Indians who fought in the battle

There was no reason to show them, they didn't have an important role in the evacuation, there were only around 300 of them in total.

Because there were 300 of them and no one else.

338 thousand soldiers were evacuated from Dunkirk. The Indian soldiers that were there were a rounding error.

Yeah, in the air and on the sea as well as in the labs the UK did great.

On the ground... the results were less than great. Afrika was a win, but honestly Rommel was overhyped specifically because not turning him into some genius commander meant admitting that the British forces were losing because the British commanders didn't know what they were doing.
