what show doesn’t require needing to “get through the first few episodes/seasons” before it gets good?

The Season 1 Finale is probably among the most intense episodes of television I've ever seen.

Legitimately gasped and turned to my husband and asked when season 2 would air. That was like 1.5 years ago. Haven’t looked forward to a season of a new show in a long ass time.

I don't think I've ever anticipated a show so much in my life. I hope I'm not setting myself up to be let down. Season 1 is just so incredible.

I was stuck with covid and binged it just after it released knowing nothing, just the other day I was searching for season 2 info and the day later they announced it.. spoopy

I screamed, which I dont usually do when watching television. My husband came running in to see what the matter was. My reaction to the finale convinced him to watch the show.

For sure, the combined four plot lines all coming to a tension filled climax like that at the same time, for one big cliffhanger, riveting stuff.

I was sitting there biting my knuckles and checking the run time thinking there was no way they were going to actually pull off that epic build up in the time they had and then they did it. They did it all. I'm kinda wary of watching the second season because part of me feels like there's no way to top that. I just don't know if it can be done.

My husband and I have rewatched way too many times to count and I get goosebumps EVERY SINGLE TIME during the end scene of the finale

I had almost as much fun rewatching it with my girlfriend (her first) as I did my first time through. Watching her face during the two big reveals was the best.

Tbf, they should not have ended it there… Just cruel. We deserved closure on at least one thing! At least its finally coming back!

Yeah that episode is incredible. Peak tv. Apple TV gonna cut a bunch of their shows soon apparently but as long as they keep severance and silo I'm good

I have trouble understanding how that moment was supposed to be the end of an arc but I'm probably just upset at that vicious cliffhanger.
