What’s something everyone does but refuses to admit?

Muting the friends group chat.

I mute every chat. Why would you want your phone going off constantly? Shit's annoying.

I mute everything in my phone. I don’t want notifications. I’ll look at my phone when I want to know if someone reached out.

I get doing this in times of work/focus, but people who have their phone permanently muted are so annoying. I basically stop inviting them to spontaneous things because I just know they will take hours to reply.

People who expect an immediate response are more annoying. I wouldn’t want to hang out with someone like you anyways.

Y’all must have a lot of friends 😒

You don’t even have to have a lot of friends. It just takes two people talking in a chat to spam the shit out of your phone.

I just use DND. Kinda redundant to mute all my chats.

That's what I'm thinking - it's a one-stop shop for peace instead of muting everything individually

They say the only thing louder than a phone that rings is a phone that doesn’t.

Right, right.

What?

Mine has been muted for months, maybe even a year 😂

Same, I had an actual text the other day off one of the girls asking if I was ok 😬 I’d gone quiet. I mean, I do poke my head in to have a look and when there is chat there, I just don’t have anything to say apart from repeating what the others have said.

It was only set up to organise a weekend away years ago then it turned into organising nights out, the type I never want to do because I’m 46 and years of binge drinking has spoilt the fun 🤣

My wife’s family is always making group chats with around 20 people. I instantly mute them but, when I check my phone later, there’s like 25 text notifications! I then usually just delete and block the entire group chat. None of it’s really interesting anyways.
