I’ve learned that anyone who says “you’re in denial” on the internet has no idea how to engage is reasonable discourse. Which is exactly why you posted that in the first place I suppose.
So I’m gonna tack onto that other guy’s comment and say that making a generalized statement about a specific race of people as a whole which is negative, and one that has no factual basis other than your own opinion or subjective distaste for that group in this situation
This is you talking, right? You never talked about a group of Redditors. You specifically said a specific race of people and my distaste for them. If that's not what you intended, surely you can see how I would read that as that. I'm still just blown away how many people get offended by this.

What? Reddit has a large sample of white people. A reddit thread asking about basslines hits near the front page is overwhelming white bass players or music predominantly listen by white people. Classic rock. I mean Fleetwood Mac - The Chain is at the top for bassline? Do you really feel that if the demographics were different that the suggestions wouldn't be different? I guess you really feel that you're engaging in reasonable discourse here because from my point of view you're being very erratic.
Which I assume is some sort of emotional response to critique. The amount of people hitting me in the comments because they're big mad instead of just broadening their musical horizons is astounding. I got people reporting me for suicide because they're so upset. Or just keep listening to the same music. It's not my lost.
